On October 30th, the 25th Anniversary of the cooperation of Hanns Seidel Foundation and Shanghai Teacher Training Center was held in SHNU, attended by the Consul General of German Embassy in Shanghai, chairman of the foundation, and leaders from China’s International Cooperation and Exchanges Department of Ministry of Education, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and SHNU, etc. Further discussion was held in regard with more cooperation in establishing the SHNU-German Center. Founded in Munich in 1967, Hanns Seidel Foundation has been committed to maintaining a democratic and peaceful world of sustainable development and moral management. SHNU initiated cooperation with the foundation in 1983, and it has made concerted efforts in teacher training for preliminary education, exchange of visits and education in the western part of China.
