SHNU: December 15th witnessed the first heavy snow in Shanghai, and the temperature abruptly dropped to below zero centigrade. Over 1,000 down jackets, cotton quilts, carpets, and thermal underwear were prepared to be donated to SHNU students who are economically challenged.
Until 9 p.m. that day, about 600 down jackets and carpets were distributed to ride the students through harsh coldness, and many benefited students, particularly those who spent their first winter in Shanghai, were grateful for every article they received,.
As to students’ financial aids, more than RMB 5.6 million Yuan of National Fellowship, over RMB 800,000 Yuan of tuition waiver, over RMB 200,000 Yuan of temporary financial aids, and 2 thousand loving care gift packages have been passed on to the students’ hands so far.
