SHNU: On December 8th, Chu Junhao, Chinese expert of semiconductor physics and appliances, and member of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and SHNU alumnus, delivered a speech themed Revelations of Development of Photoelectric Technology.
As a researcher of Shanghai Technical Physics Research Institute of CAS, Chu graduated from SHNU in 1966, and is now Vice Director of Diploma Management Committee. He has been long involved in field of infrared photoelectric materials and appliances.
His talk concerns the cutting-edged development of photoelectric technologies of the world, and related applications in real life, particularly in terms of exploiting solar energy.
During the talk, Chu encouraged the students to harbor great expectations and resort to hard work to be erudite and multifaceted.
