SHNU: Accompanied by relevant staff, SHNU Vice President Gao Jianhua went to students’ dormitories on Fengxian Campus on December 1 to check again the safe use of electricity.
The inspectors came to the fourth and the sixth dormitory areas and paid special attention to dormitories of non-diploma students. All the operations against the safety rules and hidden dangers of public facilities were required to be dealt with as quickly as possible.
Gao pointed out that students couldn’t be too careful in using electricity. Besides, as he added, persons in charge of the safety should pay more attention to the popularization and education of the knowledge concerning the safe use of electricity.
Later, Gao Jianhua was shown around the blackboard display at the north hall of the library.
After the 11.15 fire accident, SHNU has been laying great emphasis on the safe use of electricity and has conducted a series of inspections on its campuses.
