SHNU: The 13th National Academic Congress of Psychology, co-organized by Chinese Psychological Society (CPS)and SHNU, was held in SHNU this weekend. Over 1,000 experts and scholars from both at home and abroad were present at the congress.
The opening ceremony of the congress was held on Nov. 20. Officials from International Union of Psychological Sciences (IUPsyS), CPS and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission attended the ceremony. Also present were SHNU authorities Zhou Honggang, Li Hexing and relevant staff of SHNU College of Education.
The theme of the congress was “Walking towards the World and Serving the Society”. Prof. Rainer K. Silbereisen, President of Jena University of Germany, and Dong Qi, executive director of CPS, and the other 5 well-known experts in this field were invited to make speeches.
Following the speeches, the attendants had heated discussions on topics in different fields of researches of psychology in 36 venues.
