SHNU scholars of African Researches were cordially received by Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping who was visiting South Africa on Nov. 18 at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in South Africa.
Vice President Xi Jinping made an important speech on the partnership between China and Africa at the opening ceremony of the symposium on the 10-year anniversary of China-Africa Cooperation Forum in the afternoon.
Prof. Shu Yunguo, Director of SHNU African Research Center, and other research staff of the center were also invited to the symposium. Shu’s speech was entitled Chinese Investment in Africa and It’s Features.
