SHNU: On November 15th，Professor Ma Jinshuang,，Vice Dean of Shanghai Chenshan Research Center of Plants of Chinese Academy of Science，was invited to visit SHNU to deliver a speech titled World Expo and Arboretum for undergraduates of SHNU College of Life and Environmental Sciences and SHNU College of Tourism.
Ma’s talk reviewed the history of the world expo and the role that arboretum has played during the past expos. He also vividly described the renowned arboretums across the world and Shanghai Chenshan Arboretum in particular. Ma urged the students to take advantage of the holidays to visit and intern in Chenshan for tempering the skills and know-how. Education and scientific cooperation programs were explored, concerning fields of algae, plants categorization，tour guides，tourism management, and MS programs, etc.
Boasting 15 years of research and work experience in such institutes as Harvard University, Ma was sent by Chinese Academy of Science to work in Chenshan.
