SHNU: Cosponsored by Shanghai Women’s Society and SHNU Center of Women Studies, the Academic Forum of Urban Development and Gender Culture was held in SHNU on November 19th. SHNU Party Secretary Zhou Honggang attended the conference and extended a gracious welcome to all the participants.
It is pointed out by the experts that to Live a Better Life has become the ultimate objective of Shanghai citizens ever since the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. In this sense, highlighting on life quality justifies the contributions that women have made to the social communities, which are pivotal to perceive the elimination of sex discrimination.
Almost a hundred students from SHNU College of Women Culture attended the conference.
