21 Tibet and Xinjiang Autonomous Region Students Awarded Junyuan Scholarship

        SHNU: Recently, 21 SHNU students from Tibet and Xinjiang Autonomous Region were awarded Junyuan Scholarship, which was founded in 1987 by Tang Zengyuan, one of the chief pioneers of Chinese national silk and cotton spinning industry.
The awardees’ representatives spoke to extend their thanks for alleviating the financial burdens and showed their determination to work hard so as to repay those who love them.
Cong Yuhao, SHNU Vice President, expressed his congratulation to the ethnic minority students as well as his hopes that they will later make contributions to the future of Tibet and Xinjiang.
The scholarship amounts to an average RMB 50,000 Yuan yearly, with RMB 3,000 Yuan for the first prize winners, and RMB 2,000 Yuan for the second prize winners.
