Agreement on Kawai Scholarship Renewed with Japan GE Company

      SHNU: On November 9^th, the ceremony for the renewal of 2010 Kawai Scholarship was held in the College of Women’s Culture of SHNU with GE in Japan. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei attended the ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of President Li Jin with the Japanese representative.

      Course arrangements and examination requirements of women employment and business starting were introduced at the ceremony.

      Established by the Japan GE Company in 2001, the Kawai Scholarship was designed to encourage women to pursue higher education and develop their own career. SHNU began to be sponsored by the scholarship in 2004 and till now over 200 SHNU students have received the funds.
