SHNU Volunteers of the Expo Praised by Secretary of Shanghai CPC Committee

SHNU: On a meeting held at Shanghai Exhibition Center on October 30, SHNU Student Zhu Miao made a report on behalf of the Expo volunteers of Shanghai. Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng presided over the meeting.

    Zhu was a student from the College of Music of SHNU. She shared with the audience her experience of performing at the opening ceremony of the Expo and serving at the Expo site. Though she suffered a lot from serious lumbar disc protrusion, she did an excellent job as an Expo volunteer.

    Yu Zhengsheng, Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, spoke highly of Zhu’s spirit and encouraged all the volunteers to continue their efforts in the last month of the Expo. Also present were Shanghai municipal leaders including Liu Yungeng, Feng Guoqin, Yin Yicui and representatives from all walks of life.
