SHNU: Days ago, SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei met 50 odd SHNU students who were studying in the University of Dayton (UD) and observed the Mid-autumn Day with them.
Lu was invited to give a speech at the gathering in the evening. He said SHNU will promote programs on international exchanges and cooperation in its future development so as to help SHNU teachers and students develop better on the international platform. Lu also encouraged the students to study hard and to serve the motherland with their knowledge.
SHNU has conducted interscholastic corporation with UD since 2003. Up to now over 1000 students have benefited from this program. Some are even studying for their master’s or doctoral degrees. Dr. Daniel J. Curran, President of UD, said the industrious SHNU students have brought with them the oriental culture and set a good example for American students.
