SHNU: In all, 31 programs of SHNU have been funded by China National Science Foundation of 2010, with the total amounting to RMB 9.17 million Yuan. Among them, 10 programs are included in National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars
12 programs are won in Mathematics and Science, 3 in Chemistry, 3 in Life and Environmental Sciences, 3 in geo-science, 2 in engineering and material sciences, 5 in information sciences, 1 in management sciences, and 2 in medical sciences. Actually, these programs concern each of those involved in National Science Foundation Award.
As a kernel of National Innovation System, National Science Foundation is oriented towards fundamental research of natural sciences and of some in applied fields, particularly researchers in well-founded university or science academies.
