SHNU: Delegations from two Taiwan universities -- National Changhua University of Education (NCUE) and National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) visited SHNU at the end of August.
A delegation of 15 from NCUE paid a visit to SHNU on August 27th. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei received the guests. A framework agreement was reached aiming at promoting cooperation and exchanges in Buddhism, Confucianism, and Poetics of the two universities.
On August 28, a Letter of Intent on Interscholastic Exchanges and Cooperation was sighed between NPUST and SHNU. In the meantime, the 2010 symposium on academic exchanges between the two sides of the straits was held. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei cordially received the delegation headed by Gu Yuanguang, President of NPUST. The two parties briefed about their own universities and reached common ground on food science, biological agriculture and chemical environment.
