SHNU: According to the List of 2010 National Level Bilingual Model Courses released by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance, the course of History of Western Civilization by SHNU was among those approved.
History of Western Civilization was taught by Yi Zhaoyin, professor of SHNU College of Humanities and Communications.
In addition, there are other three courses in SHNU that are named as Model Courses Taught Only in English (rather than language courses) in universities of Shanghai.
