SHNU: On August 13th, a group of 70 students from Hongkong New Territories wound up their visit in SHNU and returned to HK.
Sponsored by Office of Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of China Ministry of Education, the group arrived in Shanghai to study the urban strategies of Shanghai. Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President attended the welcome ceremony to receive the visiting guests.
Lu expected more exchanges and cooperation between Shanghai and Hongkong. A lecture was delivered by dean of SHNU College of Humanities and Communications, concerning the theme of urban development strategies of Shanghai.
Over the 4 day visit, the group was shown around Shanghai Expo pavilion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Urban Planning Museum, Shanghai Tobacco Factory, and the former historical sites etc.
