SHNU: Nearly 3,000 SHNU volunteers for the Expo started their service from July 10th and will leave their posts on July 25th. Their excellent work has won a lot of high comments from the Expo Volunteer’s Department. In the meantime, relevant departments and colleges of SHNU have taken various measures to help resolve specific difficulties of the volunteers in their work and life.
On July 22nd, a special meeting was held to summarize the first-phase of the volunteer’s work and deploy future tasks. SHNU Vice Party Secretary and Vice President Wang Lianhua and relevant leaders attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, SHNU Party Secretary Zhou Honggang shook hands with teachers working for the Expo. He expressed his hearty thanks for their diligent work, and encouraged them to pass on their successful experience to those volunteers in their second phase of work.
Over 4,000 SHNU volunteers will provide their share of service for the Expo from July 26th to August 9th.
