The rainy spell in Shanghai finally ends and scorching heat follows, putting SHNU volunteers serving at different posts of the Expo to a harsh test.
July 18th is the first day of high temperature since the day when SHNU volunteers took over the jobs at the Expo, and relevant departments and colleges of SHNU have taken various measures to help volunteers fight the heat. In the afternoon, SHNU authorities Wang Lianhua and Li Hexing paid a visit to the volunteers at the Expo. Their sincere regards and encouragements have greatly inspired the volunteers. Besides, SHNU volunteers will get one short message every day to help adjust such sentiments as nervousness, excitement, fatigue, etc. These short messages are compiled and sent by SHNU students majoring in Applied Psychology of the College of Education.
