SHNU: On June 23rd, the national eminent teacher Sun Jingyao delivered a lecture entitled ‘How to Give a Successful Lesson’ to over 80 young teachers. This is the second lecture of the eminent teacher lecture series of the 8th Teaching Quality Month. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei spoke before the lecture started.
Sun expounded on how to give a successful lesson from three aspects: how to prepare a lesson, how to give a lesson and how to provide after-class instructions. Young teachers were so immersed in the lecture that they expressed their respect and admiration towards Professor Sun with enthusiastic applauses.
SHNU Vice President Cong Yuhao thanked Sun for his wonderful lecture, and he hoped the young teachers could follow the example of Sun and make their efforts to achieve success in every lesson they give in the future.
Sun won the Eminent Teacher Awards of Higher Education at National Level in 2009.
