Cheung Kong Scholar Lectures to SHNU Students

    SHNU: Cheung Kong Scholar Li Jianming was invited to deliver a lecture on the American democracy in SHNU on June 13.
    Prof. Li analyzed major issues of theories and practice of American democracy and pointed out the development of American democracy was the result of struggle between the general public and social elites.
    Li is Director General of American History Research Association of China, member of Social Sciences Commission of the Ministry of Education and professor in the Department of History of Peking University.
