SHNU: On May 20th, Mr. Subash C. Gandh from the library of the City University of New York (CUNY) came to pay a five-week visit to SHNU library. Mr. Gandh is the first foreign researcher to act as an exchange visitor between the two university libraries. SHNU Vice President Li Hexing received him in the opening ceremony, and extended his wishes for more fruitful cooperation in terms of communications of library work and management. According to the agreement previously signed between CUNY and SHNU, a two-year exchange program has been kicked off this year, and a SHNU librarian has been sent to work for a short term in CUNY library. |
