SHNU: On April 16th, the day of March 3rd on Chinese lunar calendar, SHNU College of Women held the opening ceremony of the 1st digital online version of Shanghai Oriental Girls’ Day. Officials from Shanghai Women’s Federation, Shanghai Education Development Foundation and governmental departments attended the ceremony with over 200 female university students of Shanghai. Traditionally, March 3rd means the grown-up day of girls, and the celebration offers a new stage for girls in eastern countries to show their charms and talent. In the backdrop of the upcoming 2010 expo, cultural programs will be encouraged to include all digital forms in Shanghai until May 30th. |
