SHNU: Two SHNU programs stood out at the 2009 Shanghai Award Ceremony of Science and Technology. Wei Musheng, professor from SHNU Mathematics and Science College，won 3rd prize of natural sciences. His 16 papers have been published in SCI journals as Math. Comp.，SIAM J. Matrix Anal. Appl.，Numer. Math.，Linear Algebra Appl.，BIT etc. His works have been quoted 154 times. Fang Zuhua, also was conferred the 3rd prize of science and technology for his research on small gas power devices. 20 patents have been applied with 15 papers published in this field. In all, 5 categories are listed at the ceremony: science pioneers, technological progress, technological inventions, natural sciences, and international cooperation of science and technology. |
