SHNU: “Song of the City – Ignite Shanghai”, a music play by SHNU Xiejin Film and Arts College and Shanghai Xinhui Culture and Recreation Group, shall be staged in Shanghai World Expo Garden Area. Representatives from the two cooperative parties have attended the ceremony and signed the deal. According to the agreement, both shall be involved in the publicity series of the play, and Xinhui Group shall fund the program all the way to the end, and train the student actors and actresses. During the interval, regular seminars on music plays shall be held. Taking the backdrop of stories in 1930s and 1940s, the play has been acted as a window for local Shanghai people and those home and abroad to know about the history and culture of Shanghai.
