SHNU: With a slogan of Hand in Hand, and Heart to Heart, SHNU students have fought the hard way to volunteer in preparing for the forthcoming World Expo during the winter break. SHNU also shouldered the responsibility of training 1,466 volunteers from 6 universities in Shanghai, among whom 652 are from SHNU. Students took questionnaire surveys and case studies to offer better and wiser suggestions for the Expo, concerning the themes of community service, civil lives, volunteers and expo etc. Overall, 540 reports have been delivered. SHNU volunteers teach for free in social communities, visit the seniors and the relatives of martyrs, and serve in Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Library, and Luxun Museum etc. |
