SHNU:The annual National Reward Convention of Science and Technology was held in Beijing on January 11th. Zhao Meijun and Li Lizhen, couple professors of SHNU won the second prize for their research findings in the realm of insects. They received the trophy from Hu Jintao, Chairman of P.R.China. The couple have exerted lasting efforts in research and education of entomology. Zhao published 6 works and over 40 papers with about 30 new findings of insect species. Li won Award for Outstanding Teacher of Shanghai,and is now vice council chairman of Shanghai Animal Association, boasting 128 findings of new insect species, 100 papers (41 published overseas), 5 works, and 3 national patent rights.
