SHNU: Recently, the results of HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) held in November, 2009 have been released. The bilingual kernel teachers from minority groups of Xinjiang Autonomous Region have scored a success in the exam, with about 86.4 percent examinees attaining level A.
All the 119 Xinjiang teachers trained in SHNU have won the certificates for intermediate level, among whom 102 teachers reached Level A. Ever since 2005, SHNU has assumed the responsibilities of training Xinjiang teachers Chinese Putonghua, which enabled the trainees to make significant progress during a few months.
