SHNU: According to the announcement jointly issued by Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, 56 specially engaged professors from institutions of higher education in Shanghai were conferred with the honorary title 'Oriental Scholars' . 3 part-time professors of SHNU-- Zhang Jiwang, Li Guisheng and Yu Liang were on the name list. This marks a breakthrough in the SHNU policy of ‘revitalizing SHNU with talents’. An awarding ceremony by the university will be held later. The talent plan of ‘Oriental Scholar’ aims at stepping up the disciplinary building and teacher team construction by drawing eminent academic leaders both at home and abroad into the university. （Edited by Jessica）
