SHNU:On December 8th, 2009 SHNU International Arts Festival had its closing ceremony held in the university, which was also attended by Lu Jianfei, Vice SHNU President. Lu recalled what has been done in the past three international arts festivals which involved over 80 foreign performance groups, about 100 shows, and more than 10,000 participants of teachers and students. Now more and more teachers and students in China and abroad have played an increasing part in the arts festival, and recognized its brand name of global fame. The arts festival has incorporated singing, dancing, film shows, musical instrument performances, display of calligraphy works, pictures, fine arts, art design, and teaism, etc. In the closing ceremony, Peking operas, hip-hop dances, Chinese talk-shows drew the eyes of the audience and won fits of applause.
