SHNU: On December 6th (146 days before the opening of 2010 Shanghai World Expo), SHNU became the first to start interviews of expo volunteers recruit. About 309 student candidates and 3 teachers sat in for volunteer workers with special language skills.
Psychological test, presentation, team cooperation capacity, and physical strength exam were among the test 90 applicants will finally be chosen to be volunteers for the expo with different service period of 1 month, 6 months and 9 months. The results shall be released recently, and will be reported to the expo bureau. Also, volunteers from 18 SHNU colleges contributed in their respective ways on December 5th, the International Volunteers’ Day. (Editted by Rebecca) |
