SHNNU：The 3rd Graduate Student World Forum of Chinese Language Teaching, with the theme ‘World-oriented Chinese Language Teaching and Researches’, was held in SHNU from November 28 to 29. 200 odd graduate students both at home and abroad gathered to discuss topics related to the teaching of Chinese language. Li Yuming,Director-General of Language and Words Info Administration Department of MOE，SHNU President Li Jin, and experts and leaders from World Chinese Language Association or other universities attended the opening ceremony. The forum was successfully held in Jinan University in January, 2008, and National Kaohsiung Normal University in October, 2008. The 3rd forum, organized by SHNU, dwells on such issues as ontology researches into modern Chinese linguistics, Chinese language teaching, Chinese language acquisition, etc. The forum received 100 pieces of academic papers, among which 52 were selected and the authors of 17 academic papers were invited to speak at the forum. （Edited by Jessica）
