SHNU: On November 13th, the 2009 Conferring Ceremony of Foreign Students Scholarship was held in SHNU. About 10 students received certificates from Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President.
Lu congratulated the awardees and encouraged them to work hard and communicate better so as to promote the peace and development of the humankind. Among them, two are doctoral degree candidates; two winners are from India and the Republic of Ecuador, the two countries from which SHNU has received students for the first time. In all, there are 25 students granted Chinese Government Scholarship, 7 Confucius College Scholarship, and 31 Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship. (Editted by Rebecca) |
