SHNU: On November 11th, the International Confucius College of SHNU was officially initiated. The inaugural meeting was hosted by SHNU party secretary, and also attended by leaders from International Confucius Study Center, and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. SHNU president Li Jin was quoted as saying that the event was a beneficial attempt between local universities and international academic society. The International Confucius College was set up as a key platform for people of the countries other than China to study traditional Chinese culture. The college mainly features on the relations between Confucianism and religion, Confucius ethnics and contemporary changes, and the links between Confucianism and thoughts of Chinese minority nationalities, etc. (Editted by Rebecca)
