On November26th, International Communication Forum on Chinese Literature and the Publishing Ceremony of Two New Books were held at SHNU. It was held both online and on the scene, and attracted hundreds of scholars from 40 universities across China.
The two new books, composed by SHNU professor Zhu Zhenwu, Experience from Others, Chinese Studies Introduced into the West and Auto-aggressive Balance compose a trilogy to Sino-English studies for sinologists. This signals another important achievement of SHNU Chinese literary communication studies.
On that day, 6 theme speeches on Chinese literature translation and international communication have been delivered from experts and scholars of different circles. At the discussion part, over 30 young scholars from more than 20 universities probed on such topics as construction of overseas audience and translation research, and Chinese qualities in fields of communication studies and world literature.
