SHNU: March 3rd and 4th marked the third round of test of SHNU Xiejin Film and TV Arts College to recruit new students. This year, 2,287 candidates sat for SHNU acting, broadcasting and hosting majors, yet only 56 students would be admitted, thus resulting in a success rate of 41:1.
Founded in 2000, SHNU Xiejin College now features 4 majors, namely, acting, broadcasting and hosting, TV editing and directing, and animation. There are about 85 staffs, 45 professors and assistant professors, and about 700 students in this college.
Most graduate now work as professional teachers, or members of Opera Arts Center, etc.
