International Symposium on Urban New Media and Contemporary Shanghai Held in SHNU

       SHNU: On February 24th, the International Symposium on Urban New Media and Contemporary Shanghai was held in SHNU, involving over 30 scholars from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
      Cosponsored by SHNU Urban Culture Research Center, Non-verbal Materials Research Center of Japan kanagawa Unversity, and Urban Humanity Research Institute affiliated to University of Seoul in ROK, the conference received almost 30 papers, covering 4 themes, namely, Urban New Media and Chinese Society, Newspaper and Urban Culture, Newspaper and Contemporary Society, and Film, Ads and Contemporary China.
     The scholars discussed about the outline and development of Chinese media, newspaper and contemporary politics, newspaper and contemporary culture, city and media, concessions and media, and historic figures of media, etc.
