SHNU: On the afternoon of January 20, SHNU authorities including Lu Jianfei and Zhang Minxuan came to have a New Year’s Eve dinner with more than 160 students to celebrate the traditional Chinese New Year, among whom there were undergraduates, post graduates and international students that remained at school during the Spring Festival.
On behalf of the university, SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei extended New Year blessings to the students present and, through them, to their family members. Lu hoped the students would study harder and make more progress in the year to come.
The SHNU authorities gave a package of gifts to students, including a network card, a fitness card, a phone card, a ticket for a performance at the Shanghai Grand Theater, and students could also enjoy a comfortable free bath.
“It is a pity that we cannot reunite with our family members, but we feel the attentive care from the teachers and authorities through their considerate arrangement”, the students said with deep emotion.
