The SHNU African Research Center Approved as Region and State Identification Research Base

SHNU: Good news came that the African Research Center of SHNU has been approved by the Ministry of Education as Region and State Identification Research Base, which means SHNU has achieved new progress in the field of African studies.

The Center has been devoted to researches on African history and economy, and Sino-African relationship since its establishment in 1998. The center has contributed  a lot to the African studies in China and the disciplinary construction of African Studies by undertaking research programs at state or municipal levels for many years.

Thanks to all its efforts, the Center was approved as the Region and State Identification Research Base on December, 2011.
