SHNU: On behalf of the university, SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei, and SHNU President Zhang Minxuan, invited the retired SHNU nonagenarians to gather for the New Year dinner.
According to the daughter of Mr Zhao, the 103-year-old retired teacher from College of Mathematics and Engineering, “My father was quite excited about returning to the Alma Mater for reunion dinner.” Mr. Zhang, the 92-year-old teacher still lecturing for the students, replied without any hesitation to the invitation of the dinner party, “Do not worry about me. I would definitely arrive for it. I am now hale and hearty.’
Emergency precautions in medical treatments were taken for them; photos were shot to record the cherished moments. All of them received loving-care cash from the university.
