SHNU: On January 3rd, Yang Deguang, the former SHNU President, arrived early at the university to donate RMB 2,012 Yuan to SHNU, and was greeted with thanks from SHNU Party Secretary and SHNU Vice President Wang Lianhua, and SHNU Vice President Ke Qinfei.
Since 2004, Yang has kept his yearly donation for 9 years. Also, since 1996, he contributed funds to SHNU on Tree-planting Day.
Moreover, Yang even sold his apartment to establish an educational fund to alleviate the financial burdens of poor yet excellent students.
