SHNU: Good news came that SHNU Teacher Fu Yi from the Mathematics and Science College was awarded an outstanding tutor of the 2011 Chinese Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (CUMCM) for Shanghai competition zone. 8 teachers of Shanghai won the honor this year. Hosted by China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, CUMCM is considered as the most influential event held annually for university students of China. Each competition team consists of 3 students and they will have to finish mathematical modeling and computer programming within 72 hours. |
