SHNU：On December 19, a delegation headed by Prof. Kim Suk-woo, Vice President of University of Seoul (UOS), paid a visit to SHNU. SHNU Vice President Cong Yuhao extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the university.
The two parties exchanged opinions in terms of the overview of each other’s universities and cooperation programs, including student exchanges, mutual visits of teachers, and summer camp. They reached a preliminary intent of interscholastic cooperation. These programs will offer more channels of communication and information for the students and teachers of both sides, and pave the way for further cooperation between the two universities.
A well-known seat of learning in Seoul founded in 1918, UOS boasts about 8,000 undergraduates and 2,700 postgraduates. It has signed a number of interscholastic agreements with many overseas institutions, including those of the US, Japan, Hungary, Poland, Australia, etc. Each year students can get support from 45 kinds of scholarships in and out of the university.
