SHNU：Shi Feifei, a student from SHNU College of Foreign Languages, received the award of Excellent Essay at the “2011 Sasagawa Cup” Writing Contest entitled Knowing About Japan, and her tutor, SHNU professor Wang Junyan, won the title of Excellent Supervisor.
Started since this April, over 8, 000 Chinese essays and 2, 000 Japanese ones were delivered to the contest, and 42 Chinese essays and 18 Japanese essays have won the award.
This marks the third year that such a program is carried out, which aims at promoting candidates’ interests in Japanese language learning and understandings about Japan, and also providing a valuable platform for the youths of China and Japan.
