SHNU Student Appeals in South Africa UN Climate Convention

       SHNU: On November 28th to December 9th, Shen Zhao, a student from SHNU attended the 17th Contracting Parties Convention of UN Climate Changes in the South Africa.
As one of the International Green Envoys selected by the British Council, Shen presented the creative program of adapting to climate changes and promoted ties with the international community by means of cooperation and negotiations.
       On December 1st, Shen was witnessed at the Youth Forum of Climate Changes Adaptation at the China Pavilion and shared his 2011 Green Envoy Scientific Observation Report in Ningxia so as to advocate various countries to highlight the importance of climate and environment.
       As the national patent owner of outdoor wind power plant, Shen was invited to attend a series of climate and sustainable development conferences and reported by the Chinese mainstream media.
      The convention was followed by a demonstration of climate volunteers on December 3rd to further arouse people’s awareness of cooperation in combating global warming.
