International Students Praised in the First National International Students Talent Show

SHNU: On November 22, the international students from SHNU International College of Chinese Studies attended the First National Foreign Students Talent Show that was jointly held by Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Ministry of Education and Department of Education of Zhejiang Province.

    The performance called “Student Life in Another Country” by SHNU students was greatly appreciated by all the leaders and audience present.

Officials from the Ministry of Education and Zhejiang Province and teachers and students from 18 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Zhejiang University were present at the talent show.

The international students of SHNU who gave performance were from Ukraine, Egypt and Botswana.

“Student Life in Another Country” was one of the performances at the New Year Party held annually in the ICCS of SHNU. International students give performances in a variety of forms at the New Year Party, while ICCS arranges directors and graduate student coaches to helps those international students with directors and the graduate student coaches for the design of the programs and the rehearsals.

During the preparation process, both the Chinese and foreign students have deepened their friendships and , learned more about the culture of each other’ countriesother nations. Besides, the international students can and improved their oral Chinese and t.  They like this program very much.
