SHNU: The closing ceremony of the 4th SHNU International Arts Festival and the drama performance of Macbeth by London South Bank University were held on Fengxian Campus on November 23. SHNU Vice President Gao Jianhua and an official from the Cultural and Education Section of British Consulate-General Shanghai attended the ceremony.
Gao summarized five characteristics of the festival – participation of many countries, strong internationality, great influence, interaction between school and community, and promotion of cultural exchanges. He said he was looking forward to the next Festival in 2 years, and announced the closing of the 4th International Arts Festival.
10 students from the London South Bank University put on a drama performance Macbeth, which was one of the four tragedies written by Shakespeare.
The performance lasted for over 40 minutes. It marked a successful ending of the closing ceremony of this International Arts Festival.
