SHNU: An international forum on basic education reform and teacher education was held in Guangdong on November 22. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei attended the conference and made a report entitled “Setting up the professional standards for excellent teachers to further improve the effectiveness of teacher education”.
Lu introduced relevant researches SHNU has done on the professional standards for excellent teachers. In his opinion, it is necessary to formulate professional standards for excellent teachers with the aim of cultivating all-round talents with native characteristics and global vision. Lu’s report drew high attention from the experts and university presidents at the forum.
It is reported that university leaders from 30 colleges and universities from China，Russia，Japan，Korea and other regions participated in this forum.
