SHNU: The joint conference of eight normal universities in China was held at Capital Normal University in Beijing on November 18. SHNU Vice Party Secretary Mao Dingwen was invited to speak at the conference. His speech was entitled “Strengthening the Construction of Campus Culture and Promoting Cultural Inheritance and Innovation”, which drew high attention.
Attendants of the meeting had a discussion on how to promote teacher education reform and campus culture construction. Officials from the Ministry of Education attended the conference. They gave important instructions about reform of teacher education and answered relevant questions.
The eight universities attending the conference are Harbin Normal University, Liaoning Normal University, Capital Normal University, Tianjin Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, Hunan Normal University, Shanghai Normal University and South China Normal University.
