SHNU: On November 17, a French delegation of 4 headed by Denis PELLETIER, President of EPHE, paid a visit to SHNU. The two parties reached a framework agreement on interscholastic exchange and a project agreement of jointly educating doctoral candidates majoring in Comparative Literature and World Literature.
SHNU Vice Party Secretary Huang Gang cordially received the guests. According to the agreement, both the Chinese and French students who have participated in this project will receive doctoral diplomas in Comparative Literature and World Literature from both universities. Huang stressed that SHNU would make every effort to consolidate the project and pave the way for further cooperation between the two universities.
After the meeting, the French guests visited the SHNU Museum with a great interest.
On November 18, President Denis PELLETIER and Prof. Philippe HOFFMANN from EPHE gave two academic reports on religious studies on Xuesihu Lake Overseas Master’s Forum. SHNU teachers and students majoring in Comparative Literature and World Literature listened to the reports.
