SHNU: On November 2, Marja-Liisa Tenhunen, President of Central Ostrobothnia University of Applied Sciences, visited SHNU. SHNU Vice Party Secretary Mao Dingwen cordially received the guests.
Both sides reviewed the achievements of previous exchanges and cooperation. They reached a preliminary agreement on starting joint double-degree programs including majors in business and tourism. What's more, President Marja-Liisa Tenhunen invited SHNU to take part in their 20th anniversary of founding.
After the meeting, President Marja-Liisa Tenhunen visited the SHNU College of Tourism on Fengxian Campus, and continued the discussion on the cooperation of relevant majors.
Central Ostrobothnia University of Applied Sciences is located in Kokkola, one of the west coastal cities in Finland. The university boosts a faculty of 300 and an enrollment of over 3,000, with its disciplines ranging from engineering, business management to tourism and nursing. Most of its 400 international students come from China. Its interscholastic relationship with SHNU started in 2002.
